Overview
To wire the aircraft a number of tools are required to achieve a good standard of assembly and regardless of what instruments are selected the problem will be the same with the only scale being a variable.

Support bracket for the panel - replace rivet in the bow with an M4 rivet nut. Fabricated a bracket as shown that uses the top mounting bolts of the panel. |

This tool crimps ferrules onto bare ends of wires when inserted into screw terminals of electronics. The most useful were red/yellow/white/green to be found on the Bay |

Crimper for AMP aircraft rings and spades. |

| This is used to install brass pins onto the ends of the wire. The modified pliers fold the brass tabs over and the crimper places that nice V you see in all the factory-installed ends. It is critical for a secure connection and was purchased from Spruce The pliers were a cheap spring-loaded set just trimmed for the task |

| A temperature-controlled soldering unit is a must. Always use a 1.0 mm resin core 60/40 solder where possible |

| The blue handled tools are strippers, both have their strengths but the builder favours the pliers. The orange handled tool is a flush shear cutter not a pair of side cutters. Both these tools are supplied by Xuron and the flush cutters provide the cleanest of all cuts |
